Grrr.. It had to rain during my Saturday commute when I cleaned my drive train the night before. Now its all dirty and grimy again.
On another note, I've been reading the blog of a fellow bicycle commuter who goes by the name of El Wey. His blog is titled Bike Commuting in SG
He has also been added to my link list of cyclists' blogs on the right for future reference.
Yea man, a dirty drive chain is a terrible thing! It's worst when you drop your chain, and you realise how dirty your hands are after putting it back...
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I'm wondering if it has something to do with lube. I'm using Finish Line, and so far it has been giving me hell. I'm trying others once this finishes...
On the other note, would you like to co-write on my blog once in a while? Your insights would be great to have!
I use Singer oil, not any better. Actually I think any wet lube will be like that. Using wax may be a cleaner alternative, but I believe it provides lesser lubrication and may cost more.
ReplyDeleteHmm.. with regards to co-writing, I guess I could give it a try.
Yea I guess so. Not really into bike maintenance, so I use whatever is cheaper.
ReplyDeleteBTW: what email do you use for your blogspot acct? Need it to add you as a co-writer. Thanks!
Likewise. I use Singer oil because its cheapest.
